Dr. Eric Dahl is the lead clinical chiropractic physician for Apollo Chiropractic Health and Wellness, LLC, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Dahl was born and raised in Kelso, Washington, where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class at Kelso High School in June 1981. In his four years at Kelso High School, Dr. Dahl was a distinguished track and field athlete and cross country runner winning multiple southwest Washington scholastic athletic championships.

After graduating cum laude from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, with dual bachelor degrees in mathematics and science education, Dr. Dahl heeded the call to serve our country and entered the U.S. Air Force in 1990. Dr. Dahl served the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 2010, as a pilot and weapon system engineer. Dahl was a three-time recipient of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal.

Upon retirement from the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Dahl decided to pursue a new career as a chiropractic physician because of his own positive response to chiropractic treatments and his desire to maintain a career in public service. Dr. Dahl went on to attend the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, cum laude, and concurrently his Master of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science in December 2013.

Dr. Dahl’s Apollo Chiropractic Health and Wellness dedicates itself to helping community residents lead pain-free and active lifestyles through therapeutic chiropractic care. His “whole person” philosophy provides patients top quality health care that focuses on individual needs while setting goals of improved health and establishing wellness practices for patients to lead active lives. This includes identifying and treating root causes of physical pain, establishing nutritional plans, providing rehabilitation exercises, and prescribing therapeutic massage to promote healing.

Underlying all Dr. Dahl’s motivation is his desire for healthy physicality for both himself and his patients. Dr. Dahl has been an active distance runner for over 40 years, and he attributes his success for his longevity in the sport he loves to chiropractic care at key points in his life. His choice to remain active with chiropractic care versus inactive with medical care changed the outcome of his health. Over his years of distance running, he has run six marathons, ten half-marathons, and many, many more races of shorter distances.

Dr. Dahl has been married to his wife Emma for over 20 years. They have two children, Matthew and Anamaria, and one grandchild, DJ.
